Tier III Volunteer Information
In order to attend school field trips, parents must become a Tier III Volunteer by completing and passing a fingerprint background check. Instructions to do so may be found here. Once the fingerprint background check has been completed, volunteers can sign up for a time to receive an official volunteer badge with their photo. (It can take several weeks for the background check to be approved, so please allow at least 3 weeks between completing your fingerprint background check and signing up to receive a badge.)
Volunteer badges should be worn at all times when volunteering at any Williamson County School.
How to apply to become a Tier III volunteer:
For WCS Procedures and Guidelines for Tier III volunteers, click here.
- Application: Download the application here.
- Background Check and Fingerprinting information, click here.
Please bring your completed application to the school office and make sure you bring your driver's license with you.
Once you have completed all the above steps, we recommend waiting a 2-4 weeks for processing. You will not hear whether or not you have been cleared but you will be contacted if there is a problem with your background check/fingerprints.
Tier III Volunteers Badges
Tier III Badge making sessions will be held periodically throughout the year at EES. As those dates and times are finalized, an updated link to register for a timeslot will be provided. Please reach out to info@ptoees.org with any questions.
