Don't Miss Anything! Join the PTO Today!
Due to growing concerns about the safety and security of information about our school, we are making some changes to our PTO membership. These changes reflect input from our administration and are in line with Williamson County recommendations. In order to access most content on the PTO website (including student directory and staff favorites), you will need to purchase a PTO membership for the current school year. You will also need to be a PTO member to purchase tickets to all PTO events. PTO Membership is $25 per family and is vital to our mission: - to promote the welfare of Edmondson's children
- to enhance the overall educational environment at Edmondson by promoting parent volunteerism and involvement
- to foster communication between our administrators, teachers and parents to secure the best educational opportunities for each child
- to raise funds to provide for the above
Here are some of the things you will have access to as a PTO member: - Student Directory *a necessity for planning play dates and birthday parties, as well as viewing your child’s classmates
- Teacher and Staff Favorite things *so useful for treating your child’s teacher or another staff member, or celebrating their birthdays
- Tickets to all PTO events *don’t miss the fun at Carnival, Belles Dance, Beaus Bowling, etc.
- Monthly edition of the PTO Compass newsletter *a must have to stay in the loop with all of the various PTO events and promotions which is released the 1st of every month
- Calendar of major events, both PTO and EES related *great for referencing when you need to remember Picture Day or other important dates
- Convenient links to WCS bus routes, lunch payments, WCS website, etc *your one stop shop for finding all things related to Edmondson
- All relevant information about anything and everything to do with the PTO *including Explorer Book Club, March Mania, Book Fair, Field Day, Grandparents Day, Talent Show and so much more!
We want everyone to stay plugged in and active with our PTO, so please join TODAY! Please visit the PTO Website to create your account (if you are new) or log in (if you are not) and follow the prompts to join. We appreciate your support. We are excited about our plans for the coming year and hope you will be a part of them!

Finally, a printed copy of the directory will be put into the new family folders provided by the school administration. Information will be sent home on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. _________________________ Volunteer BadgesWe love our EES volunteers!WCS has three levels of volunteering in the schools. The first step in all levels is to complete the School Volunteer Application and Confidentiality Agreement and have a copy of your driver's license on file at each school in which you are volunteering. These forms need to be turned in each year. If you plan to volunteer, please stop by the school office and complete this form. If you are planning to go on any school field trips, you must go through a background check including fingerprinting which is Tier III. Approximately 2 weeks after completing the process, you can check with your Principal, or designated school employee, to be sure you are on the approved list. You will NOT hear from WCS if you are approved. After receiving Tier III approval, you can have a volunteer badge made at Edmondson on specified days listed below. To complete the application process or for more info please visit: https://www.wcs.edu/parents-students/get-involved/volunteer-in-schools/ Don't delay and go ahead and get the process started today.
